Congratulations on your graduation! You have achieved a remarkable milestone and Pres House is proud of you! We’d love to get contact information from every graduating student.
So, before you leave campus please take a moment to provide us with updated contact information using the form below. You may get occasional emails and mailings from us (you’ll get a lot less email from us than you did as a student!). Please provide an updated and/or permanent address as well as your student id and permanent email address.
If you enjoyed the programs offered by ph Apartments or participated in a scholarship program, consider investing in the future of Pres House. The programs and scholarships that make ph Apartments a special place to live and learn was made possible through the generous giving of alumni and donors that went before you. Their support made your experience happen. And we are asking you to help pay that favor forward. Your investments in the coming years is what will keep Pres House strong and vibrant for future generations of students to experience community dinners, afternoon tea, scholarship programs, finals hospitality and life in the welcoming community that is Pres House.
Consider one of the following two options:
- Sign up to make a recurring donation each month. Even $5 or $10 per month helps a lot! You can set up automatic giving on our donation page.
- If you aren’t able to start giving now, make a pledge to give later this year by filling in the bottom of this form with your pledge plans. We will follow-up with you in a couple of months.
Join the legacy of generosity and invest in the future of Pres House. Thank you!
Where are you going to live next year?!
Living at PH has been a great experience for me. I felt that I connected with my neighbors more than I would have living elsewhere on campus. The PH Scholars program has given me a home within home experience and has allowed me to connect even more with the individuals I live with.
The Microcommunity has been a great opportunity. Being a college student it is difficult to eat healthy, but through reading “In Defense of Food” and the support of the members of the group we have all been able to be more conscious about what we are eating. Maggie got some cookbooks and we got to experiment with some of the recipes. One of my favorites was from the “100 healthy pizzas” cookbook; we made a basil mozzarella pizza. It is a great way to get to know people who are all interested in …
I would say it is totally worth living in PH Apartments: quality apartments, great community, best customer service ever. I complain about something today and it is fixed by tomorrow. This is probably one of the best apartments I’ve ever lived in. The recently started drop-in dinners are just awesome. I can go on but overall 10 on 10!
Before I came to UW there was a guy in Madison who owned a house. He used to always rent out to vets, so they could live together and have a place that was theirs. It seemed like everybody knew about it, whether you lived there or not. When he died that property got sold, I guess. I’d love to have people know there is a place where vets can live together and get support. That’s why I decided to live here and help start this program.
The Food for Thought micro-community has given me the opportunity to make connections with people I normally would not have. It has also made me aware of the community around us and how we can help make it a better place while making friends and having fun!!! From this micro-community specifically, I have learned so much about the importance of knowing where your food comes from and how to be a smart eater.
The PH Apartments Microcommunity program has allowed me to expand upon my leadership and communication skills in a topic I am passionate about! This has been a tremendous opportunity for me and the rest of my group!
The PH Apartments scholars program has been a great opportunity for me to meet new people and further enjoy the diversity of the UW Madison campus. The events are relatable and fun for all involved. My favorite one was the presidential debate viewing because I learned how to discuss politics without fear of disapproval or conflict. I can’t wait until next semester’s events!
Being in a Microcommunity is a great way to meet other people in PH Apartments. I really like how it is student-led because it gives us an opportunity to explore and discuss topics we are all interested in.
I chose to live at PH because I thought I would immediately be able to make contact with folks in Madison. I didn’t know anyone in Wisconsin before my studies at the university began, and so, through the student ministry and a local Presbyterian church, I was able to quickly ground myself in Madison. I’m very happy with the apartment, the university and larger Madison communities. I’ve been able to feel completely at home despite being more than 800 miles from my family. PH was and still is an i…
The apartments have given me a place I can settle in comfortably. I’ve lived here for years, and would love to stay.
